Birth Support Network
Birth Support Network (BSN), based in the Portland,
Oregon metropolitan area, was founded as a support group
for women serving women in the pregnancy, birth and postpartum chapters of their
lives. BSN strives to be a vibrant, multi-generational community
committed to supporting and educating women who are doulas, educators and advocates
of empowered birthing and confident mothering.
Birth Support Network gathers in the Community Room at McMenamin's Kennedy School
(5736 NE 33rd, Portland, OR) from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on the second Monday of each
month. We come together to encourage each other; connect, collaborate & network
with one another; and learn & grow as we strive to be empowered ourselves.
Our monthly meetings include several educational speakers each year. Although we encourage membership to anyone who feels
akin to our passion for supporting women, our meetings are
open to anyone.
